Dive straight into conservation at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll witness the tender care given to orphaned elephants. Continue to the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed the towering Rothschild giraffes. As the sun sets, enjoy a carnivorous feast at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, savoring game meat roasted over charcoal pits.

We depart Nairobi after breakfast, winding down the Great Rift Valley escarpment with a stop to photograph the dramatic landscape. Arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park, the air shifts—cooler and filled with bird calls. Your afternoon game drive is a hunt for the rare: this park is a sanctuary for both Black and White Rhinos. Even in off-peak seasons, the Mara is teeming with elephants, buffalos, and hyenas. We enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, under the shade of a solitary acacia tree. In the afternoon, we visit a traditional Maasai Village.
